In our compounding department, we produce high-quality PP and PE-based ready-mixes. By mixing in additives (fillers, additives, etc.), the material properties can be individually adapted to your requirements.
We are also happy to take on contract compounding for you.
Properties
As a semi-crystalline thermoplastic, polypropylene has a given ratio of stiffness and toughness in its unmodified form. In PP copolymers, better impact strength is offset by weaker stiffness values compared to PP homopolymers.
Application examples
We offer the polyolefin polyethylene as HDPE and LDPE. HD stands for high density, which is between 0.94 g/cm³ and 0.97 g/cm³. LDPE, on the other hand, has more branched polymer chains and therefore has a significantly lower density of between 0.91 g/cm³ and 0.93 g/cm³.
